One day a partner company contacted us. Their client asked us to come up with something for a ruined solid oak countertop. It turned out that during installation the hole for the faucet was drilled in the wrong place, and since the countertop was already painted with stain and varnish, replacing it would be quite expensive. So we offered an unusual but beautiful and inexpensive solution: from a piece of the countertop trim left after the cutout for the sink, we made a thin plate, preserving the varnished surface, added a decoratdive edge, and installed it with sealant and screws in the place where the faucet should be, after which we made a hole in the right place. A few days after the work was done the customer called and said that these were the most accurate, professional workers she had seen and that she was very pleased with the result. We were glad that we managed to help our colleagues and saved the countertop.
