This was a difficult order for a demanding client. Our workshop received an order to manufacture a large credenza. The client was a young man from Italy who needed a lot of storage space in his Condo in San Francisco.
The credenza design we developed consisted of eight cabinets in total 22ft long. The material chosen was environmentally friendly Italian “UVO” for the body and oak plywood and solid oak for the doors.
With the classic problem of uneven floors and walls of San Francisco and with such a length of the product it caused us a lot of trouble. But in the end the credenza, finished with Rubio monocoat oil, completely satisfied the customer’s expectations.
The best confirmation of this were the words of our client to his wife “look at this masterpiece”.
